I have 2 invite codes for i'm in like with you, the best social networking site I've ever been a part of. It's currently in a closed beta, and invites are very limited, so if you want to be a part of if, let me know.

I've had it for about a day now, and the whole idea is getting that first conversation with someone started. I'd compare it mostly to OKCupid mixed with Facebook. It's unbelievably streamlined (Web 2.0 to the brim, it even does notifications right in your browser from the page), and almost too simple. I uploaded the wrong picture, for example, so I searched all over for the delete button but couldn't find it. You click the picture, and drag it to a remove box. The things people do with Ruby on Rails these days.

Ok, so the premise: Each user has points, they gain points by winning other peoples games or by completing simple tasks like answering questions or adding pictures. They can then spend these points on "games". Someone creates a game, with a question meant to spark a conversation. "How much wood could a woodchuck chuck...?" is an example. Basically, people browse the games, and if they see someone they think is cute or interesting, they'll try their game by bidding points and answering the question. Once the game is over (1 hour to 3 days), the creator of the game selects his favorite answer from the 5 highest bidders, and they are declared the winner. Not only do they not lose any points, but they also gain points and are given the opprotunity to start a conversation with the game creator. It sounds a little complicated, but it is easily the cutest thing I have ever witnessed, and it seems pretty fool proof, everyone seems to be playing along and it just works well.

So yeah, I've got some invites for that if you're interested, also, I have some invites for Joost if you'd like one of those. Pick which one you want, but if neither of them are in demand, I'll consider giving you one of each. :)

Joost is the newest creation of the folks behind KaZaA and Skype, but not so illegal as the first. In fact, they have Viacom, BBC, Universal, and other large content distributors behind them. It's basically a YouTube for copyrighted content. You can watch things like the entire first season of "Stella" from Comedy Central, or hundreds of music videos from artists like Madonna, Depeche Mode, etcetera. This is also in a closed beta, but it will be opening soon to everyone, so the invites aren't quite as valuable, still, getting something sooner rather than later is always nice. :)

8 dates in 2 months? Tell me this isn't just a current trend.

I like being able to choose. :)

My diet is also going fabulously, 2 weeks strong and down to a constant 1500-2000 calorie diet. Mindy and I are going to get gym memberships tomorrow.

I'm still looking to move out, anyone looking for a roomie or a person to look for apartments with?

Meh, come to think about it, I'm kinda just wishing Kyle and I would've went someplace, but can't win them all.

Stacey and I had another falling out, it'd be best for both of us if this was permanent, most bestest for me though.

I'm still addicted to podcasts, Super Paper Mario, and spending a fuckton on Wii Virtual Console games that I could easily just get via emulation.

Speaking of podcasts, subscribe to Feast of Fools - Gay Fun Show with your favorite podcasting client, like iTunes. It's the funniest fucking thing ever and I doubt you'd disagree. If you're looking for a good preview episode, I'd suggest anything with Miss Ronnie. :)

While we're on the "things that people SHOULD do but probably wont." If you're on a Mac, go download TextExpander. It's only the most convenient thing I've ever used. It fixes typos you set it up to (even a list of common misspellings is available on the site) automatically. Example? It just fixed my misspelling of "misspellings" in the last sentence without me doing anything. It even fixed my misspelling of "sentence" in the last sentence. It helps! :D

Also, you can program it to automatically fill in information, like when I type "##", it automatically enters my phone number, if I type aaddress, it fills in my address. It also works with HTML code and things, example, "ahref" inserts the hyperlink HTML code, it even puts my cursor in the right spot afterwards!

Seriously, between this and Quicksilver, there's no way I could go back to Windows and ever feel the same. TextExpander does cost $30 to get the full version, you can get a 30 day trial, but seriously, I've paid for it, and it's the best. (Quicksilver is completely free)

Well chil'ens, it's time for me to get back to my podcasts and my attempts to sleep. This surely trailed on for much longer than I expected, I hope it was as good for you as it was for me, toodles. :)

I deleted some people, not of any priority. I just picked random names and deleted to see if any one of them keeps me.

Here's the deal, if you don't want to stay my friend, don't comment.

That simple, Dan please comment I don't want to have to delete you. =*

I'm getting really fucking sick of having to add a new journal for the same person every week.

Is it that hard to just keep ONE journal?
